History

Since we began developing websites in 2000, we have gained a wealth of experience over the past two decades. As our clients’ needs have evolved, so have our capabilities. We have explored the application development process in depth, becoming well-versed in concepts ranging from basic wire-framing and prototyping to designing database schemas and managing the full life cycle of projects across various mediums.

As co-founder, Justin Seipel brings 24 years of communication and web development experience to Big Pixel. With degrees in both advertising communications and computer science, Justin is an award-winning web/print developer and illustrator. Fully competent in traditional marketing and design, his primary focus is developing and communicating clients’ presence in the global web marketplace.

Michael David Smull

As co-founder, Mike brings years of creative design, web design, and print design experience to Big Pixel Studio. Mike is an award-winning designer in both print and web design. His years as an art director for traditional ad agencies and in the promotional marketing field have given him a unique perspective on solving design problems. His primary focus is designing beautiful work in both print and on the web for his wide range of clients.
